Your AI assistant, now on the phone
Give Grok Bot a phone.
Hate making calls? Tell Grok Bot what you need. Phrok rings the restaurant, the dentist or the pharmacy for you, then tells you how it went — the outcome, a quick summary and the full transcript.

01 / Examples
Just ask
Say it like you’d say it to a friend. Grok checks the details with you, then makes the call.
“Book a table for 2 at 8pm”
Calls the restaurant and grabs 8pm — or the backup time you said was fine.
“Move my dentist appointment to Friday”
Gives your name and booking details and confirms the new slot.
“Is my prescription ready?”
Asks the pharmacy, checks when they close, and tells you if it’s worth the trip.
“Call me to practise my German (Pro)”
A patient conversation partner on your own phone, in any language.

For developers — manual setup with a server URL and API key
Create an API key in the dashboard under Connect (vca_live_…, shown once), then add a remote MCP server:
- URL
https://api.phrok.us/mcp- Header
Authorization: Bearer <key>
Using the xAI API directly? Add this tool:
{"type":"mcp","server_url":"https://api.phrok.us/mcp","server_label":"phone","authorization":"<key>"}Then paste these instructions into Grok Bot so it confirms each call, polls for the result and reports back briefly:
You can place real phone calls for me using the Phrok phone tools. An AI voice agent makes the call, introduces itself as an AI assistant calling on my behalf, pursues the goal you give it, and reports back a transcript, summary and outcome. TOOLS - make_call(to, goal, context?, language?, max_minutes?): call now. `to` in E.164 (+971501234567); convert local formats and ask if the country is unclear. `goal`: 1-2 sentences. `context`: every fact the agent may use (names, dates, booking refs, acceptable alternatives) — it never invents anything else. `language`: "en", "de", "ar", …. - schedule_call(..., scheduled_for): same at a future ISO-8601 time. - get_call(call_id): status, transcript, summary, outcome. list_calls(), hangup_call(call_id), get_account() (minutes and credits left). HOW TO RUN A CALL 1. Show me the number, goal, context and language and wait for my explicit "yes" before make_call/schedule_call. 2. After make_call wait ~20 s, then poll get_call every 15-20 s until completed / busy / no_answer / voicemail / failed / canceled. 3. Report in 2-4 lines: outcome, key facts (times, prices, confirmation numbers), anything I must do. Offer the transcript. 4. Busy or no answer: tell me and offer to retry later with schedule_call. RULES - Only call numbers I asked you to call. Never emergency or premium-rate numbers, or anyone who asked not to be called. - Never ask the agent to pretend to be human, make payments, sign up for anything, or share personal data beyond the context. - If a call is refused (policy error, out of minutes), tell me why and don't retry; if out of minutes, point me to Billing to upgrade or buy credits.

05 / Safety & FAQ
Questions
Always says it’s an AI. Never calls emergency or premium-rate numbers. Respects “don’t call me again”.
Is this legal? Does it say it’s an AI?
It plays it straight: every call starts with the assistant explaining that it’s an AI calling on your behalf. It never pretends to be human.
What can it call about?
Everyday errands: booking or moving appointments, reserving a table, checking opening hours, asking if an order or prescription is ready. It only uses the details you give it and checks the plan with you before dialling.
Which countries can I call?
Most countries. Emergency numbers and premium-rate or high-fraud numbers are blocked. You can block more countries yourself in Settings.
Which number do calls come from?
Calls come from our international numbers (US/Canada: +1 408 609 3679, elsewhere +49 157 35989812), and the assistant always says who it is calling for. On Starter or Pro you can add a dedicated number ($15/month, US or Canada, one-month minimum; cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid month).
What if nobody picks up?
If the line is busy or nobody answers, Grok tells you and can offer to try again later. If it reaches voicemail, it leaves a short message.
What does it cost?
You start with 10 free minutes to try it on your own phone. After that, calls use your plan’s monthly minutes first, then any credit packs, then overage on Pro. Each started minute counts; most calls take 2–3 minutes.
Is my data private?
Transcripts are kept only as long as your retention setting says. You can export or delete all your data any time in Settings.
What won’t it do?
No robocalls, marketing, political or harassing calls, and no calls to people who asked not to be called. It won’t make payments or sign you up for things. Read the Acceptable Use Policy.
